My first week of summer school is over, and while it would be nice to have this time off instead, it's not a bad gig. I only have 7 students who are all well behaved even if they'd rather be outside...and it's only 4 half days a week. The biggest problem is that when I get home I have lunch, usually a big one because I'm starving, then I get sleepy, then my body kind of shuts down on me. I have every intention of packing or sorting through things or doing other work, but it just doesn't happen! I'm excited that I have tomorrow off. I can get up and get all kinds of work done first thing in the morning.
We've started moving a few things over to the new apartment. We have until the end of June to complete our move...it's really kind of nice. We'll have some pictures to show soon.

Whats really fun is when you are so tired that for three days you forget to shower, brush your teeth, and change your shirt that is covered in spit up and dried milk and company shows up. That day will come soon enough. Muwahahahaha!
Pregnancy tired sucks so bad. It takes over and you just shut down. Doesn't help that you can't drink a cup of coffee to keep yourself moving either :)
why can't you drink coffee?
Too much caffeine is not good for you while your preggo. It raises your heart rate as well as the babies. Pretty much everything you put into your body also goes to the baby, which kinda sucks. You wouldn't give a baby a bottle full of coffee. Well, you might. But most other people wouldn't. Anyway, doctors say that you can have the occasional cup or a moderate amount of caffeine per day - usually no more than 2 cups but that is pushing it. Most people just give it up. It's easier than teasing yourself.
i agree that baby fetuses shouldn't have coffee, but neither should adult fetuses.
does it make sense to you that it's ok to raise your heart rate, but not your baby's?
more than likely, your baby will grow up to be a caffeine addict anyway, so does it really matter whether you drink it while you're preggers or not?
yes. it can have a heart attack and DIE right there in the womb. it's heart could explode with such a caffeinated jolt.
heh. KABOOM!
nah, it's never been proven kato. it's just a precaution some moms take to prevent such instances from happening.
