Like Christmas

I got my haircut today which I do only about once a year. Dave's not going to like it...but that's okay, I don't do it to make him unhappy, I do it to make me happy! I don't get it done very often because it costs like $45 plus a tip and if you try to go cheap (i.e. Supercuts) it doesn't usually turn out as well. Plus I never like going to salons where everyone is "better" than you and you make small talk with the person cutting your hair even though she's kind of snobby. All that said...it was really nice today. I went to this place last year and both times everyone was really nice. They kept offering me tea and water, and all the staff were friendly. Holly cut my hair, and because she was 8 months pregnant, we had a lot to talk about. It wasn't very busy so she wasn't rushed or anything and while she was shampooing my hair she massaged my hands with lotion. It was really nice to be pampered a little. Plus I really like my haircut and that always make me feel good about myself. I even made an appointment for a trim in July...I may just have to get my hair cut twice a year now!
