So, I guess we got our first taste of the "monsoon" weather. Yesterday morning around 4:25 Bishop woke us up with his incessant whining. He is terrified of thunderstorms and all things associated with them. We saw the flashes of light and heard the rumbles of thunder. We both had the same idea...so we got up and sat on our porch. It smelled like rain...it was wonderful, only we'd missed it. The street was covered in puddles and the sky still rumbled now and then, but the storm was over. I'm so sick of this! It's too hot and dry and I want some storms! The 10-day forecast looks promising...isolated or scattered thunderstorms Thursday through next Wednesday...but we'll be lucky to see any precipitation I think.

Not Impressed

We did get a storm on Monday night with thunder and lightning and the whole bit. Bishop was terrified...but we just want more!
