A night in the city

Last night we went to On The Border and out for a movie. Dan received a reward card from his credit card and was nice enough to treat us to some very good Mexican food. We shared the Queso Live! and I got a cheese enchilada and beef empanadas...mmm. While we were enjoying our food and drink we decided to check out what movies were playing. Our first choice, Zodiac, had funky times so we decided on the spectacle that was 300. It was a beautiful movie to watch, even the violence seemed beautiful in a strange way. I wouldn't say the acting was spectacular...but I think my main issue was the dialogue. It was too modern day...not enough ancient Greek grandure. I don't know, maybe that was the point but it felt slightly out of place. Overall, I really enjoyed it's comic book/graphic novel style. Oh, I'm sorry...Watch it.
