Have you seen that commercial where the guy rolls out of bed at like 3am and gazes out at a skyline somewhere in Japan? He then gets dressed and enters a little 24-hour restaurant/coffee shop and meets some American friends bearing USC and Notre Dame shirts to watch the big game. Yeah well, today, that was me...except I'm still in the United States...and we were watching a Division II game...and I only knew one person there. Grand Valley won the National Division II Championship today...woohoo! At least I scored a sweet baby-doll GVSU tee.The rest of my weekend will be spent cutting graham crackers, and sorting candy so we can make Gingerbread Houses on Tuesday. Oh yes, and making oatmeal cookies to give as gifts and fruit pizza for my contribution to Treat Week at school. That's okay, I like baking and I'll be able to sneak gum drops and eat the broken graham crackers!
