Cough and Sniffle

I've been trying to kick this cold I've had for almost 3 weeks now. It just seems to get worse...and the ironic thing is that now that I have health insurance, it costs so damn much that I can't even afford the copay to go see the frickin' doctor! So yesterday and today I left school a little after 4...not because I'm upset about the paycheck thing (although it certainly makes it easier to leave), but because I feel like crap. I'm hoping some good, old fashioned rest and vitamin C might do the trick.

I knew this time of year would be hard for me...Christmas-time, no snow, away from so many friends and family...but I think it's starting to get me a little more than I thought it would. I don't know...Dave hates his job, it seems like all I ever do is work, and we don't have any money to go explore the town. AND it's Christmas! For a move that was going to make so many things better, sometimes I wonder if we made the right decision. It's always easier to keep things the way they are...I think things have gone amazingly well so far. I'm finding out how it can be difficult to change your life. I am so thankful that I can keep in touch with so many of you the way we do! It's just hard to feel so isolated and then come to realize you don't really have much to show for it.
