It was a good weekend...I finished up my stint as a sub/assistant at a local elementary school on Friday. After the childrans had gone home, we went to UNO's for a couple drinks. Dave had to come trade cars with me because we ran an ad for the fever in the Bargain Corner and he'd already received a few calls about it. After UNO's we went to the Cantina for a family get together. It was here that I learned I'd been "reassigned". Later that night we sold the fever for $700...we have since gotten at least 30 other calls.
Saturday was gorgeous and I was itchin' to get outside. We did our chores, ran our errands, and stopped for a delcious lunch at Bennigan's. When we returned home, we threw the dogs in the truck and headed out to Ken 'O Sha Park. I wish I would have taken my camera, but I probably enjoyed the walk much more without it. The dogs swam and ran, and I really wished I had a camera when Hudsy got stuck on a tree and kept falling over backwards trying to swim free! We concluded our night in K-zoo with the DeVries's for Italian night and a game or two of FLUXX.
Today...another gorgeous day...brought some AM packing and organizing before we headed off the DeBruin household for an early Thanksgiving dinner. We were eager to get home and watch some football, but first we made a stop at the hospital to visit my friends Nina and Steve and their new baby Brody. He was so precious! We brought him a stuffed Classic Pooh Bear. And now, here we sit watching the Steelers/Chargers game. Probably our best second-to-last weekend in Grand Rapids ever.
