Hangin' with the Shedubeards

Monday was my day to get caught up on resume-mailing. I got 9 schools checked off my list...I don't know if this sounds like a lot or a little...but there are still many many more to go. Around 2:30 I decided I needed a break and I had to make copies of my teaching certificate anyway so I went to Kinko's Copies and then stopped off at Schuler's. As I browsed the bargain books in the entrance, my phone rang and I realized I was late for meeting a friend. I apologized profusely and she continued to wait as I drove 20 minutes across town. So my free day quickly turned into an action-packed day. By the time I arrived home, stemshul had been messaging with shedu and we had ourselves some impromptu evening plans as well.

So we trekked out to Kinko's Copies to retrieve the teaching certificate the I had left in the copier earlier, and then on to chez shedubeard. Ugly and Alykat were there already...because one of them lives there and the other used to...and we watched some child entertainment for a while. Once the childrans were in bed (sort of) we began a rousing game of catchphrase. I still preferred our original teams of girls against boys...we totally kicked your asses!
