This is ourselves...under pressure

Dum dum dum da da dum ching, dum dum dum da da dum ching, bling bling. I love that song. I love Fridays. I would have loved this one much more had it been an ice-day. Alas, it wasn't and I had to report knowing there would be a sub all day long. It went well though...I ran the day. I got a glimpse of how difficult it will be without help in my own classroom. Lots of teachers these days have assistants or student teachers or parent volunteers. With any luck, and a lot of early intervention, my class won't be as misbehaved. All week long, I'm dog-tired when I get home...then on Friday night I feel ready and rarin' to go. Well...not actually go, that would be ridiculous. But, I feel like bloggin', I feel like watchin' movies, you know...regular stuff.

I'm enjoying the Olympics...a lot. There should be an Olympic channel, where they show these sports all the time...maybe such a channel does exists...maybe it's called ESPN. I don't know, it's just more exciting at Oly time. Oly...that's our nickname for the ice surface that we skate on...there's the NHL side and the slightly larger Olympic side...Oly.

Anyway...peace y'all...I'm looking forward to three days where I don't have to hear "Can I use it? I gotta use it real bad! It's a 'mergency!"
