We watched Click this weekend. At first it was the same old Adam Sandler in a Happy Madison production kind of shtick. But it actually ended up being a really surprising movie. Not award winning or anything, but still touching and more of a commentary on life. Had it not been Adam Sandler, I may not have been so impressed I think. Anyway, worth watching on DVD.
Have you ever thought about the weird power that cashiers have? It's very strange. They know things about you that most other people don't know. They know the clothes you like and the sizes you wear. They know the kinds of food you eat. They know when you're having a party. They know when you're having your period. They know what kind of books you read and what movies you watch. They know altogether too much if you ask me. If I can go to a self check-out lane versus a live checker, I will. I say up with the machines! Down with sly looks and smug smirks. Let my buy my personal items in peace.

It's true. I choose my cashier based on my personal items. Junk food - male cashier, feminine products/clothes - female preferable older, etc. Makes me feel less judged.
yes we notice everything. If its something embarsing after you leave we run and tell everyone else what you bought and then all laugh and make fun of you. It really makes our day better.
