Things are in motion now. The ginormous cookie dough sale I was heading up at school is over (mostly) and we're in full swing countdown to vacation mode. Yeah...things in the old classroom are still hectic and chaotic, but at least we get to do lots of fun things too. Plus I took what we call a "mental health" day yesterday with my teammates and we all went shopping!We are currently holding both of our Netflix movies to send out on Monday so that we can be sent our LOST season 3 on Tuesday! Hopefully we can finish all of season 3 before we leave...there may be some late nights in the coming weeks.
The Christmas shopping's not quite done, but will be next weekend after our IKEA trip! Today I'll be wrapping what we have and trying to figure out how best to pack it. That's the most exciting thing happening...we're actually planning the details of our trip! I can't wait to see everyone and everything. I can't believe it's been over a year. It's weird when I think about the fact that we live in Arizona...it still doesn't feel real.

You might want to
just precut the wrapping paper for the gifts and then wrap them all when you get home. In case they search your bag at the airport. Cuz if they do all the wrapping paper will get messed up and ripped. Or - you could wrap everything and then ship it to your parents house. Just some ideas ;)
We're actually driving...we didn't feel comfortable boarding the dogs and it would have cost a fortune to fly with them. Plus we can't pass up a good road trip!
i thought i told you the netflix trick already. if you want a tuesday new release, you have to send your dvds back on friday or saturday (best to do it friday). netflix starts shipping the tuesday releases out on monday, so you only have a good chance of getting them if they receive your dvds on monday. by the time tuesday rolls around, the new releases are usually short or long wait. maybe you'll get lucky, but brace yourself for disappointment.

Our last conversation about that was shipping based on a Holiday. Why would they send out DVDs before they're released? I suppose you've waited for your share of new releases...but I don't trust it. I'll take my chances, thank you.
you're gonna get burned. it has nothing to do with holidays. this is how netflix works. they send them out monday so that you get them on tuesday (the release date). this past week, i had an open slot on monday and they shipped superbad for tuesday. i also wanted the superbad special features disc, but i didn't have another slot open until tuesday. i am shit out of luck now, because the status has changed to "very long wait."
just keep your fingers crossed that no one in phoenix likes lost. that's really all you have going for you right now.
