What happens in Vegas...

I am so pumped about Vegas! Friday afternoon I'll be picked up from work around 2:30ish and we'll begin our Vegas Vacation. We'll see the Tournament of Kings show on Saturday night and head home Sunday morning. Everything else is unplanned. I've never done much gambling, and although we've allotted ourselves some squandering dough, I don't imagine us spending ALL day in the casinos. So I've been looking online at Vegas tourism sites for other things to do. I was surprised and very excited to learn that there are many free attractions located all over the strip. And since I'm dutch and frugal, I've made it my goal to see as many of these attractions as possible during our short stay in Sin City. The site I linked to above has an interactive map that will show you where to find attractions, dining, shopping, shows, and other things. That site is the best obsession I've found in like...a week. Check it out and please give any suggestions!

Have a great time. Got to say every time I go to Vegas I follow very little of my plans. Just relax and have fun, it's an amazing place.

Bellagio fountain show and their botanical gardens. The show in front of Treasure Island. The rollercoaster up on New York New York. The show inside of Ceasar's Palace with the roman god statues. the guy that looks like a statue in the lobby of the venetian. The volcano and aquarium at the Mirage. The flamingo habitat at Flamingo. The coca-cola shop and M&M shop. Shops and shops of stuff you can't afford but can pretend you'll buy some day.

each casino is like it's own city. you'll spend most of your time just looking around at the decor, the shops and anything else they offer for free like the drinks.
