Well, parent teacher conferences are over (mostly) and now I have a three day weekend to celebrate! I didn't even bring work home this weekend, which felt very strange. I had several large breaks on Wednesday and Thursday nights during conferences when I could grade papers, do my lesson plans for the next two weeks, and actually do some filing and cleaning up! On Friday I had one short conference at 11:45 after school let out, then I quick cleaned up, grabbed my purse, headed over to Top Shelf for a delicious lunch with my teammates, hopped back in the truck, and never looked back! I made it home by 1:30 and my long weekend commenced with a luxurious 2.5 hour nap. Oh yeah...life is good!

the good life
