Chuck Woolery is the bomb.
Sometimes when you move far away from everything you've ever known, you get tired of seeing strange streets (or avenues if you're west of Central), strange restaurants, strange people, strange strip malls, strange newscasts, strange timezones, and most of all strange grocery stores. Since we arrived here in Phoenix, I've been longing for those old familiar feelings of Meijer's. You know, a million reasons, a single store...one stop shopping...thrifty acres. You just can't get that feeling at Fry's, or Basha's, or especially at Super K. Well...thank God for Costco!
Today I decided that in order to maintain my sanity I must search out my local Costco. I remember seeing one on our drive in but didn't know at all how to navigate the area at that time. I looked it up on the ol' mapquest and found that it wasn't so far away. When I entered, it was like coming home. Set up exactly the way the 28th Street Costco is, I could immediately find my way around the store! No longer did I feel like I was a newbie...I'm a pro at the Costco and being there was awesome. I will spend many hours there acquiring the groceries I need...except for "Konstruction Man" Krunch Bars as I like to call them...those can only be found at the Super K.

That box looks like it was printed in the 70's. Are you sure the date on those things aren't expired?
It is very nice to have something familiar in your new hometown. The transition is hard enough. It is so great that you have found your place in this world!
You should try to find a Safeway grocery store. They remind me of a slightly larger Family Fare/D&W. I really like them.
I would buy those crunch bars just because of the box! thats awesome!
That is why we bought them. And youre right, they are awesome.
