Better late than never...

The 7th semi-annual mario kart double dash tournament was the awesomest! There were 19 total entries and 20 players including the dreaded team robot. Despite their attempts to make everyone feel better by mixing things up a little, they still dominated. Even super-gamer Brent was at their mercy as they defeated him twice on Rainbow Road for the trophy. There were a couple a newcomers and of course all the regulars. This basement was definitely full...if the tourney gets any bigger we may have to rent out a hall. Maybe that's the way to get more people involved...promise a roomy location with a locking bathroom door and snacks. Who knows...I still had a ton of fun and, just as ugly said, I too was secretly hoping for a surprise visit from Kato. Alas, that did not happen. I really think he was playing in Arizona at the exact time that we were...don't burst my bubble kato!
