it's not about winning...

Today my wonderful husband came to the school I'm student teaching at to video tape a lesson for me. (Special shout out to Shedu and Crazy for letting us use their camcorder!) It was kind of nice having him there. Maybe when I'm making bank on my teacher's salary...uh yeah...I can hire him full time to help out in my classroom. It was so nice to look up in the middle of teaching a lesson, wanting to ring some kid's neck, and see the smiling, encouraging face of someone who loves you. I kept saying things that would have been inside jokes and looking at him and at the camera. Stemshul likened it to The Office, when Jim or Pam says something about Michael or Dwight. I like that idea...it makes me happy. Someday I'll produce a show called The Classroom, a documentary-style sitcom...then stemshul will be making bank by being a camera-man.
