I'm not eating paint chips!

Man...summer is too busy. We just got done with a totally awesome barbeque which you can read about here, here, and here. Then in two weeks we've got the mario kart tournament. And in between its fourteen hour days of work for me and getting baptized. That's right, this coming Sunday I'm going to be dunked. I'm a little nervous, but super excited. I think a lot of people feel strange about adult baptism, like it's a sure sign that you're joining a cult (I thought that). But my friends and I are just so excited about the things we've learned through our bible study and want to celebrate our relationships with God in this way. It's going to be pretty informal...outside, in a lake, with hot dogs and burgers before. Is it wrong of me to picture the baptism scene in "O Brother, Where Art Thou" every time I think about this??

Okay, so then, two weeks after mario kart it's camping again. And that is sad, because even though I'm sure we'll have a wonderful time, after camping it's only a couple of weeks until school starts again and it's time for me to go insane for 8 months. And then I graduate...so really, if you ask Maryanne, I've already graduated!
